The food was good and reasonable. The atmosphere is nice and relaxing. The people are nice and friendly and the service was excellent.

AWFUL SERVICE. After being seated, we got our first round of drinks. Servers didn’t come around to check for refills for over an hour. The restaurant was half full with four or five servers working. The servers just stood at the back of the dining room visiting with each other. Honestly sad to see a place so neglected. Also, random people walking in and out of the kitchen... what the heck???Food... well, let’s just say if you’ve ever had a choice between this place and a Sunday lunch at your grandmother’s house (where she orders Bush’s Chicken) don’t pass up Gram Gram’s lunch.

Just had the Soggy bottom burger. What a wonderful addition of brisket to the burger. A great BBQ sauce done very well. A perfect match to all that meat. The Appetizers are also very from the cheese curds to the potato skins. Decent size portions. Friendly Staff. Very good service. The ribbon fries were a nice touch. Definitely going to be back and would certainly recommend.

Consistency is becoming more rare each year it seems, but this place has it down pat - and in a good way! I've been coming to this place for catfish for years and it has always been delicious (whether it's fried grilled or blackened-and on all you can eat Friday nights you can mix it up each plate!). I have tried other dishes as well and have not once been disappointed. The service is very good and the small town friendliness is a fresh change to the hustle and bustle of the city. So whether you are driving through West or live in the surrounding area, be sure to try this place, you will be glad you did!

Breakfast terrible! Cold pancakes, kitchen out of all breakfast stuff such as sausage/hash browns, yesterday's reheated coffee, service with a bad attitude. Other customers were walking out,at 10:00am, when they realized kitchen was out of breakfast food. Really?!?! We should have left instead of sticking it out.

This was our first time going there. The portions were huge for the price. The food was delicious. We will be back.

My wife's family is from West so we visit a few times a year. If you like chicken fried steak, this is your place! Very good, big size, sides are great and very reasonable prices!

We ate there once afew months back and it was pretty good, so we brought the family back at 8:30 tonight for dinner after a game. We were told the kitchen was already closed, even though they are open until 9pm. We had to give our money to another business. Oh well...

Though a pretty basic menu everything on it is well prepared. Especially like their crispy curly fries. The burgers and chicken fried steak are also outstanding.

The food is sooooo good. Hubby had the ribeye and it was perfect. I had the blackened catfish and it was great! We started off with an appetizer called the "hot chicks" which was bacon wrapped chicken bites stuffed with jalapeno and cream cheese. They were awesome! All in all this place did not dissappoint. We were visiting the City but would definitely eat here again!! Oh, service was spot on as well. Great place.

they always forget any kind of sauce that obviously is suppose to come with your food. the waitresses are kinda rude, got asked if I needed my change back because they ran out of change.. how does that happen at a business??

Came here on a Saturday night. Service was a tad on the slow side for the amount of people in the restaurant, but the food was delicious! This is definitely the restaurant to visit if you're looking for something open later than the other places in West.

Okay, so we used to really like it here, but the last few times there have been MAJOR service issues. This morning was the last straw. We waited almost 45 minutes to get our breakfast and then my plate was wrong. Coffee stopped after being filled 3 times. They were working on orders out of order so that people that came in 15 minutes after us got their breakfast well before we did. No catsup or jelly was brought even though we asked. My food was all cold except the eggs when they brought it back out to me. This is really sad because we like how close it is and that they are open for breakfast on Sunday.

Nice looking place. If food had been cooked it would have been better. Probably go back again to see if was just a bad day for them.

Food is fresh and flavorful got the sirloin med.well and it was juice and so much flavor I didnt need A1 sauce, highly recommend

Service took awhile. People who came in after us were getting their meals before us. It was hard explain to 3 small hungry kiddos what was taking so long but it allowed us to teach a little lesson on patience. The waitress was nice and had a great sense of humor. The food was good. One of our kids had a corndog it was a bit overcooked but the rest was perfect. The steaks were so juicy and had great flavor. The kids loved watching the trains go by. The bathroom door was wobbly seemed like it would fall off the frame if it was pulled just right but it was clean.. all in all good experience we will definitely be back.

We were in town for a volleyball tournament and the lady at the front desk of our hotel recommended this place. She said it closed at 10pm. We got there at 9:30 and the people working there said if was already closed. Why list your hours of operation till 10pm? We ate at a bar and grill down the street and when we passed by after eating around 10:30 the same employees were sitting at the bar area. I️ hope they were off the clock.

My steak was very tender and cooked to perfection. My potato was cook perfectly as well. This place has the best ranch dressing ever I don't know if it's homemade or not but it was the best I ever had.
